Dracula Postponed
The Frank Wildhorn-Don Black-Christopher Hampton musical version of Bram Stoker's Dracula had its world premiere last fall at the La Jolla Playhouse. It had been mentioned for Broadway last season, then postponed to the current season. But I'm hearing that this Dracula is now more likely to be aiming for Broadway in the 2003-2004 season.
Add Asa Somers (Hedwig..., The Rocky Horror Show) in the role of Herbert to the previously announced list of principals joining Michael Crawford's Count von Krolock in Dance of the Vampires: Rene Auberjonois (Professor Abronsius), Mandy Gonzalez (Sarah), Max von Essen (Alfred), and Julia Murney (Magda).
